Reading this board sometimes leaves me with to high expectations. I keep wanting my BM to get Sub MOA at the local range to the point of shooting for work instead of fun. I took my wife out this weekend and she picked up the 20'' A2 and but the Simmons 4 x 14 scope on the rifle with a bsquare mount (I bought it before I read posts or I would not have purchased that one) loaded a box of winchester white box. Our local range has a 12" round piece of metal on a post at 300 yrds. She laid the gun on the bench and proceeded to hit the plate 20 times without blinking. I guess I just forgot to have fun it does not take sub MOA. I dont know what they put on the plate but a white powder buff came up on each shot like the target had baby powder on it, I cant believe it was paint.

Sounds like when my ex-father in law took his wife to shoot sporting clays. It was the first time she ever shot anything in her life and she got 100/100. She said that she was just used to taking instruction well.

Nicely put. Personally I have more fun shooting steel gongs or reactive targets than punching paper for groups.

The only real exception to this is shooting with my father. You see, whomever gets the lowest score has to buy lunch It's fun to kick the old mans butt, even though it doesn't happen very often.
