Just got a new 20 inch bushy, my question is how far did you adjust your rear sight from the center line to zero in your AR. I had to crank the windage adjustment about six clicks away from the right
of the rear sight tower. Is this normal on both of my other AR's the sight is almost centered.

thank's

can vary depending on how close to center the front sight base is. As long as you can zero and not exceed windage, you are oK.

I don't think that typically that is normal.  I do however have one AR that I built that I also had to adjust about six clicks over to the left to get me zeroed in.  I think it has to do with either the barrel extension being slightly off center or the front sight base.  The one I had a little trouble with came from Wilson

Just to add more samples to the population. I have two that needed NO windage adjustment for zero.

6 clicks is well within tolerances - don't worry about it.

My 1st AR required 23 clicks, which was outside the range.

Per Bushmaster:  12 clicks is considered the max.

That is WELL within the allowed tolorance.  Very good in fact.

You don't want to know how far my Bushy's had to be cranked over (hint it was only a couple clicks off the side).

This has been my major gripe with bushmaster.

It's a pet peeve of mine.  I use bushy uppers for practice so I don't put wear on my Colts.  I don't have the same issue with my colt assemblies.
