I just picked up an AR15 with an Essential Arms receiver, but I can't identify the upper. The Model of the receiver indicates it was made for an upper with an A1 site, but the upper in fact is an A2. The site also has a C M engraved on it (next to the rear site), but as far as I can see, nothing else to help me identify it. One other thing is that the front site is not a standard bar like a Bushmaster, but it is a night site. Kind of "Fin Shaped" so it must rotate one full turn for each setting. Also the stock is a Bushmaster collapsible. Anybody have any ideas as to how i can identify the upper? Not to mention how old it is? |
That's a Bushmaster - VERY good barrel. Sounds like they replaced the front sight pin with an Express Sight front sight. Barrel is good - you just might want to spend $50 and have Kurt or ADCO turn it down under the handguards to lighten it up. |
