Oops, was attempting to reply to a CLP post...Oh well, I'll leave it. I found that FP-10 CLP is the best...It is a bit thicker than brand "X" and stays put better. My guns work smoother, and are easier to clean than with anything else I have used, the more I clean with it the easier to clean they become. Check out this web site for info on how to use it. www.fp10.com/indexmain.htm Send them an email and request a free sample, just mention this web site and that you actually own a gun. One use and you will be hooked - I was Joe |

AGREED !!!!!! I am a new converted user from BreakFree. After reading this thread below www.1911forum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=22515 I was convinced that I should at least try the stuff. After all, everyone that has tried the free sample was converted to switch from whatever they had been using. I mean - "stone cold". People talked about removing all of their previous cleaner and lubes from thier asernal of cleaning supplies. I AGREE. Tonight, I put my previous products (TW25B, BreafFree CLP, Mobil 1) in a box, and placed them all in the garage out-of-sight. Now, I only need FP-10 and Hoppe's 9. Yesterday, I purchase a bottle of FP-10. As soon as I got out to the car, I opened the bottle. I placed a drop on my finger and rubbed. As someone had posted in the "FP-10 thread from Hell" (linked above), you will immetidialety realize that this stuff is DIFFERENT. I AGREE. The moment I rubbed it between my fingers, I easily spotted that this stuff is different from the typical products. Then, I wiped my fingers off on my pants. Then, I rubbed again. DAMN !!!! This stuff feels like it is still on my fingers even after rubbing it off on my pants. SLIPPERY, even though I wiped my fingers dry. COOL !!!! I feel that all ARFCOMMERS should purchase a bottle of FP-10 to try. You are doing ypourself a dis-service (spelling?) by not trying it. What encouraged me to try it was that the desinger/Engineer that developed FP-10 was answering question in the thread that I linked above. He made some compelling agruements. While reading the thread, I felt that he was either bluffing or he truely did design a superior product. Only way to tell was for me to try it. As the designer said, he encouraged any non-believers to just try it - he would even send everyone that emailed him a free 1-oz sample to try. He said that he did this because he knew that the FP-10 would "sell itself" once a person tried it. I AGREE. There are many, many reasons that make FP-10 superior. A few important things to me is that the designer made FP-10 strictly for firearms, unlike other products that try to use firearm consumer as a additional market source for their product that was made for another purpose. FP-10 was designed strictly for firearms. Also, I learned about "MSDS" from the designer. MSDS allows a person to Google a product to see the approx ingreienants for products. I did not get a "warm fuzzy" feeling from seeing the ingreinants of TW25B and BreakFree - these were the products that I had been using. But the MSDS did appear to show that the FP-10 uses superior base ingreitants just as the designer had stated in his post. TRY FP-10 !!!! BTW, the FP-10 designer is a professional Lubrication Engineer !!!! |
