I'm going to be purchasing a collapsible M4 stock very soon and was wondering how many positions should I get.  I personally feel 4 will be enough for just about anything but should I be looking at the 6 position?  Can I please get some feed back from you guys who have these types of stocks and what your preference is and why?  Thank you.

I got a 6 position because it was a good price.  Plus I like the idea of getting a perfect fit.  But for the most part its going to be fully open or fully closed.  so It does not really matter for me.  But I am sure I will be happy with it.

I don't know what it feels like yet.  because I have to wait until september to put it on.

I've had both a 4 pos. and a 6 pos. I personally like the 4 pos. better. The six has too much to me, and it's not quick to put it in one of the intermediates. The spacing between each is only like 3/8" or so. I've heard guys that wear thick vests, or bullet proof vests, or either combined with thick clothing sing praise for the 6. I've only used for the most part full open or full closed, like stated above. I certainly would pay extra for the 6 pos.
