Shooting a Cav. Arms and new LaBelle 30 round mags with green followers. It (they) run great but the bolt only seems to lock back about 75%/80% of the time on the last round. (I believe) Ammo is not the problem. When shooting a match it's time consuming and aggravating not to have the bolt lock back all the time. Any suggestions???

How do you know it's not the ammo?

1: Oversize magwell/undersize mags: allowing the mag to rock foward and resulting in the follower not activating the bolt catch on the last round.

2: Ammo

3: Gas port size

I agree with G-CODE.  Ammo or Gas Port.

I once installed a tactical bolt release and had the same problem.  Problem went away once I reinstalled the original part...

You say the mags are new...did you take them apart and clean the insides good before using them?  I am amazed at how much crap can be in a new magazine...the follower may be sticking near the top???

Rec. is a MK1.............I cleaned the mags out last night, they were a little sticky but not too bad.  It might help to shoot them a bit more to loosed them up.  On the mag issue I do have the new style magpuls on them  (new base plates, etc.)  The ammo I was shooting at the time was Winchester.  I've got a box of Black Hills that I may try.  Didn't really think that there is even a question of function as long as the ammo is of good quality.  Other than than the gun runs very well.  It may shoot out of it.....who knows.

A few guys have had problems wth the bolt latch spring beign too storng for the mag spring to push against. So the bolt latch stays down after the last round fired. Mine does on some of the weak springed mags I got, but the new mags with good springs lock back right. I'd check the mags empty to see if they will push the bolt latch up enough for it to interfere with the bolt when it starts returning to battery.

Ask Russ or Shawn in the Cav Industry Forum, they'll be able to help you out.

my guess is a weak mag spring and/or a strong bolt catch spring or some binding in the bolt catch. If the ammo is reloading fine, then I doubt it's the gas port or the ammo.
