I was looking at the Sportsmans Guide and found a colapisable stock for about $30 us.
I was wandering if these stocks were worth it or just junk.

They are functional, but the example I have is a pure rattle trap.  Not a big issue for me, as I didn't want to invest a lot in a collapsable to find out I didn't care for the "feel"-which I didn't.  I went back to the A1.

You get what you pay for. There isn't much more to say than what MiniZ posted. I would suggest a CAVArms or RRA tele-stock. They cost a bit more, but better in the long run.

If cost really is a factor, I would recommend the A1 stock, or perhaps the stubby stock if you desire a compact setup.
