Here's my M4gery work in progress: After taking this pic, I sent my upper to Steve at ADCO to have the Bushmaster HBAR barrel turned down to a true contour M4 profile. My thanks to Pete (Legal Transfers) for building my upper and Wes (MSTN) for installing the DD FF7.0. Now it's time for Steve to put the finishing touches on this baby and this thing should look sweet. Oh yeah, I'm waiting for my Eotech 552 Rev. F to show up from SMGLee. most likey attached it after installing the DD... sweet carbine... i have one question deltaopwong... why did you choose the phatom? for length reasons? i just can't justify the benifit in flash reduction for creating a dust signature ... i'll stick with the a2.... but the vortex and phatom are fine if you never do prone shooting... but this here soldier bangs from ground level.

I really like the Surefire but I"m leaning towards a M962SU with a TangoDown vertical grip. The blue leds are good for blood trail tracking in the dark (not speaking from experience). I am considering selling my M900A BL for the above combo. I just wanted the 14.5 for the look but with the 16.1 length of the Phantom. I believe the A2 falls short to the 16.1 (correct me if I'm wrong). The HBAR barrel is nice but very front heavy so that's why I'm having Steve at ADCO do a M4 contour job on it. The barrel is one of Pete 's (Legal Transfers) personal barrels which he says shot the best of the batch he received. He gave me a good deal on it with only 50 rounds through it. Stan |
I'm holding off an upper build to see how the 6.8SPC round fairs out in the real world. Should be interesting to see which manufactures embrace it and which avoid it... Rick  |
