I like the CQB sling but I'm not crazy about the way it attaches to an A2 stock. Anyone else feel this way and have a suggestion? Thanks |

Quoted: I like the CQB sling but I'm not crazy about the way it attaches to an A2 stock. Anyone else feel this way and have a suggestion? Thanks I have one on my AR and it really is a great sling. The only problem I have had is that if you rapid fire, the part around the handguard tends to slip forward. No big deal because its looped on the sling loop as well. It settles back down around the handguard as soon as you drop the rifle. I say go for it, you WONT be dissapointed. |

I didn't like the way part of the strap lay against the left side of the receiver... got in the way during mag changes, bolt release etc. In the end I sewed this wayward strap to the main strap that runs arount my back, effectively giving me a standard sling that is side-mounted on the rifle. I actually prefer the CQB single-point sling, as it makes strong-weak transitions seamless. Just my 2-cents worth. |
