I have a post-ban Bushmaster 16" A3.  My question is can I put a flash suppressor on it?  I know that I would have to permanently attach it.  But can I have one at all?  Could I even put it on a heavy barrel?  I know it is a 1/2"x28 die.

Leagally, no.  Not until the AW Ban sunsets on September 13th.

Actually, under the AWB you'd be allowed to attach a flash suppressor, but only if you remove either the pistol grip or the ability to accept a detachable magazine.
