I just bought an LMT Upper from Wes over at MSTN, so I am wondering which front sling mount do you guys recomend. Right now I am looking at the GG&G mount. But I am open for other ideas. Thanks

Thanks Zak,

I guess everyone else is running single points, I want to run a three point because I can use it also on my issue weapon in the guard and then back to my civie rifle also.

Dieter CQD foward sling loop.

Second that on the Deiter. Put the loop near the back of the forend, use a 2-point sling with HK hooks (like the Deiter 2-point) and you've got effectively a 3-point set-up without all that "nasty sling build-up" [:)]

I've got a pic of that (left-handed, with my own homebrew sling) in the sling pic's thread. Actually, my rear attachment point is made using a rear sling adapter plate as well. That way I can swing the butt over the back of the sling more easily to go the offside. Best of both worlds: it hangs and stores like a 3-point, but runs like a 1-point, give or take a bit.

Does anyone have a URL for the Deiter ?

Contact Wes at MSTN. He has them here.

I prefer using a true 3 point sling myself, using the Dieter as my forward mounting point. Here are some pics of mine.

How wide of a sling can fit through the Dieter/CQB front rail loop?

Me, I like the KAC QD rail mount, but that assumes you are running a railed forend.

About 1 inch give or take.

Yeah, but it's really designed to be used with an HK Hook.

And works great with a standard CQB Solutions SOP sling through it with no hooks, for completely silent use.

Can you post a close up of the sling attachment on the top of the M93 please?

The rear attachment is merely a CAR-rear adapter from CQB Solutions with an extra 2" of web for the larger girth of the M93 (thanks Jeff).  That works okay, but the web gets in the way when collapsing the stock.   Rich loaned me an extra GG&G rail sling adapter which holds it up out of the way.
