Have you ever had problems with a Colt AR that were caused by a defective part from the manufacturer. If so, what?

Never had a lick of trouble from any of my 5 personally owned Colt ARs or any of the Colt M16A2s I was issued.

Never in 35 years of use and abuse and i have lit cigs off glowing red barrels in 1970 and 1971.

I have had some bolts that did not eject properly.

Ive never had a problem with ANY of the ARs Ive owned, including my Colts in .223.
My 9mm Colt however had annoying magazine problems.

had a few probs with 45s bought back in the 80s.
