As far as I am concerned Colt AR's are trash. In basic we were issued new A4's. Everyone's jammed even with new mags. Some barrels came loose. My DPMS is more reliable. |

Yeah man, nice to hear a vet in here. I was in the Stan with the 82d, and i wasnt too thrilled about my colt m4 either. Jams, loose barrel and once my bolt carrier got stuck in the tube. I had to keep my head down for a good while. I guess the military issued colts are built with worse tolerances than the ones the civies get. My bushmaster is more reliable. Colt needs to get their machinery in order and realize that lives are at stake. I can t call customer service with hot brass flying around me. I'd rather sit in a warm jail then pack a colt into combat |

CARTMAN: Watch out for Charlies in the trees-when I was in the 'Stan, I had an Airsoft CAR-and it was great. Only problem was the ammo would rattle around in the little bottle-then the Charlies would hear you, and get all their Viet Quaeda buddies on ya. Colts suck. I think I'll put on my little pink tutu and do a dance for daddy! Trolls on this board are usually a LOT more original than this. |

Hehehe.... CCNA... DD214's... I have both and then some... what the heck does any of that mean to us? I just love how someone comes to this forum and makes their first post a flame that. Looks like an OPINION to me, not a legitimate claim. Legitimate claim would be something like, "When I was in boot camp, USMC, Plt 1099 in 1986, the range had a defect fire ratio of ZERO percent. All M16A2 service rifles fired without any jam or problem. How? Good training, and a good weapon system." That's what a legitimate claim looks like. :D Farking trolls... too bad we can't open a hunting seaon on 'em! |
| To AIRSOFTSUCKS1 werent those new colt A4s that jammed on you actually made by FN..the company thats been making them.Listen if we pay you can we cross the bridge out of fantasy land.And in basic training you get a regular A2 thats not used as a deployable go to war rifle,I dont think they give out top of the line battle weapons to guys in basic just getting familiar with a rifle or did you get a permission slip from a local range officer who said you were good to go so give him the grown up gun...please go BS some where else your taking up space for threads that actually matter. |

| Hey Marines are so full of great RANGE talk and shooting up bus loads of innocent iraqi (civies) because the have no cool, even when not underfire. Just talking about the guys fresh on the line. The army is marginally better (i am ex army), and for the most part more cognicent. |

Jason280, what I find even more interesting is that someone comes to this forum and out of 12 posts, 8 are disparaging and/or trolling the board and harassing members that have obviously been here a while and that have added constructive input to the community. If they'd have come to the board knowing something about the community here, stuck to the rules, and brought cogent and intelligent arguments to the board, perhaps they'd have had more of a leg to stand on. All these two rocket scientists brought was grief from their first posts on. |

Are you that hard up for attention or excitement in your life that you have to resort to trolling? Seriously, you can derive a lot more enjoyment from your ARFCOM experience if you actually participate in the forum of ideas & opinions, instead of baiting others with inflammatory nonsense. Edge767, what I find interesting is that I make a comment about Colt and everyone comes to call me a troll. I stated actual occurences of malfunctions and all anyone does here is accuse me of harassing members. I guess this isn't a discussion board, my mistake. Is this just another place for you to be in charge. A friend of mine was booted from the Q for being arrested by an MP for public intoxication. I guess all MP pogues are the same. |

Airsoft: I was referring more to TurboJoe... but yeah, MP's are always the bad guys. MP's just bust people for doing nothing wrong, just like Cops in the real world are the bad guys, too. If it wasn't for them, we could speed, get drunk, rape women at will, and go on shooting sprees and never worry about having to be held responsible for our actions. I never busted anyone that didn't break a law. As for your bewilderment to being called a troll, a simple read of the forums prior to making your first post here would have shown you that this is a red-hot topic, and if you would have wanted serious discussion, perhaps a bit more on the facts and less on the opinions would have garnered more of a realistic and respectable response from those here. I'm not in charge around here, and don't want to be. I'm just a guy that lost two family members this week and can't get to sleep... |
