[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Which Buffer?

I am planning on replacing the plastic buffer in my Colt AR with a quality metal one. Specialized Armaments has Colt rifle buffers and I've also heard a lot about the "H" buffer and that it can be more reliable. My rifle is a MT6700 with 20" barrel. What's the scoop on these? Technical details are welcome.

The 'H' buffer is a carbine-sized unit. For a 20" barrel with a full length receiver extension you just want a regular metal buffer.
