Looking to replace the old plastic grip with something more comfortable and easier on the hand. Any suggestions on which grip fits the best. |

I like the size and shape of the CavArms, the SPR carried by WES at MSTN's nice too. I run TD's on some guns, but would wait if I were you, for the release of MagPuls new PG, that will adjustable front and rear straps to accomodate anyones hand plus waterproof storage, plus a couple other really new and interesting ideas. /S2 |

The most comfortable grip I've used is the SPR. It's really fat and fills the hand well. It's slick when wet and is not user friendly to lefty's because of a thumb shelf. I've got a First Samco G27 on my defensive rifle. I like it much better than the stock grip. I wouldn't put anything heavier than a fart in the storage compartment and expect it to stay there, on mine anyway. I like the finger grooves, some don't. I found the Hogue to be too thin for my taste, it does have a nice feel and texture to it though. Shabo |

Quoted: My favorite method of getting a grip is to use the search feature combined with a little browsing around. This gets discussed often around here. Often? Like every week at least, and the answer is always Hogue, Ergo, TangoDown, an occasional SPR, or Fobus. Try one, if you don't like it, add it to the pile of useless parts and get another [:)]. |

While we're all here ([:D]) could someone answer a question for me? Is there such a thing as a battery storage grip (like a TD) that has finger grooves like the Hogue? The Hogue feels better in my hand, but I really like the battery storage feature of the TD. Does such a product exist? Or, can a Hogue be fitted with an end plug like a standard A2 grip? |

Quoted: Is there such a thing as a battery storage grip (like a TD) that has finger grooves like the Hogue? First Samco G27 has both. Don't know of any others. Quoted: 2. Which grips incorporate a duckbill? Can't answer Q1, but either the Tango Down or SPR has a built in "gapper". I have both, but can't remember which has it. I guess I can't answer this one either. edited to add: just remembered: the TD has it. |
| My fav used to be the rubber overmolded Ergo, but I am coming back around to the overmolded Hogue. My grip is so good with the Hogue that I can swing the rifle about holding just the grip and not lose or change my grip position. However, I sure would like to try an overmolded TD grip! |

Quoted: Only Green Hogue I've seen is from RRA & has the RRA logo on it. I also prefer the Hogue grips. Ordered mine from ADCO, it just has the hogue logo on it. Hogue grip at ADCO |
