Hey all I recently purchased a DPMS 4rail floatube for my 16inchA2. But I cant install it because the gas tube will not go in the receiver because of the little bolt head inside the tube. Do I need a different gas tube? Does anyone else have one? Any info would be appreciated. By the way can anyone tell me how to post a picture, Thanks Chad |

I haven't used this brand quadrail so you will have to give a bit more information. Is this the one you have? Did you align the hole in the barrel nut with the one in the upper when you tightened the nut? You shoudn't need a new gas tube. I am thinking you didn't align the hole when changing the barrel nut. |

No. The web site says the one you have a pic of is the new and improved version. The one I have looks just like the full length float tube pictured on their web site. They must not have changed the pic of that one yet. Note the bolt holes in the rails; they are bolted from the bottom inside the tube. The bolt head inside the tube seems to be blocking the path of the gas tube through the barrelnut and receiver. http://www.pantherarms.com/10Expand.asp?ProductCode=FF-ST4 |
