I'm looking to get an M4 A3 rifle and I wanted to get opinions on the differences between Colt and Bushmaster. Most retailers say the Bushmaster is just as good (some say even better) but costs less because you are not paying for the "Colt" name. Are you really only paying more for the Colt name, or is there some other difference. Mark |

Read Tweak's response in the first link he provided (I think he's the 5th poster on that thread). After reading that, decide what price tag you would put on a Colt over a Bushmaster barrel. You have to decide if the QC and other points Tweak makes in the thread are worth the price difference. I'm a Bushmaster man (for the most part), myself. I like the 4150 steel, chrome lining and the QC has been okay for me so far. Again, just my opinion. Read the threads Tweak suggested. [:D] |
