| Anyone have any experience with the Jard trigger. Apparently you can order different springs for pull weights from 2-5 lbs Any comments on the adjustable versus nonadjustable and how it compares to other single stage triggers like JP? |

Jard trigger in my "V" match. Only AR I've owned. Only shot two or three others. Twelve hundred rounds in 15 months. Adjustment screws for everything. That can be good or bad depending. Installation required drilling and tapping the pistol grip screw hole completly through into the lower. Trigger pull weight 2 measured two pounds. I left in plenty of engagement and overtravel for safety and reliability which makes for some creep. No problems since installtion. The sales guy with Jard was real helpful. Midway had a lower price at one time. |

Denny Denny, do you have any idea how long it's going to take to clean the DROOL out of this keyboard? [:D] I guess sleeping is out of the question until the UPS truck pulls up in front of the house. I've got a Leupold 4.5-14x50 LRT M1-Mildot with ARMS #22M on a GG&G GS-1 rail waiting. George is a phenomenal gunsmith. He's built two rifles for my shooting partner. The first one was a bolt gun; if all the bullets aren't in the same hole, it's your fault. We shot a match in November where the tie breaker between us and the SWAT snipers was a 100-yard rifle target and the distance was 500 yards. Ed fired the winning shot and missed the bullseye by less than an inch. It's hard to beat the best equipment in VERY capable hands. The second rifle was a Mk12-Mod 0 SPR that we used to good effect in the annual FDCC match. I can't wait to see how my rifle shoots. |

The bolt gun he built for me is the most accurate rifle I have ever seen and the SPR ain't bad either. For sheer quality of pull, the Jard trigger is hard to beat. The one George installed in my SPR is the best AR trigger I have ever felt and with a little loc-tite, you don't have to worry about adjustment screws shooting loose at the most inopportune time. I highly recommend the Jard trigger and GA Precision rifles. The combo is second to none. Ed |

WHOA NELLY!!! George, you are the MAN!!![beer] I just got back from the range, and I couldn't be happier. No groups were larger than .5moa, with enough .25moa groups to make me wonder. There were a lot of "2 and 1" groups, and with so few rounds down range, this rifle may indeed put all three in the same hole. I'm running on about three hours sleep, so some if not all of what little error there was, may be shooter induced.[:D] G. A. Precision comes through - AGAIN! |

Have both JARD & Jewell triggers. JARD is not the easist to get adjusted the 1st. time and it requires that you locktite all of the screws. Once you get it right it is Superb. Understanding your ques. is about single-stage triggers am much more fond of the Jewell as it's very eay to adj. in the field. A Tip: If you get your JARD from Brownell's, it comes only with the 2 Lb. spring, and thay dont stock any of the other spring weights. Got mine direct from JARD @ $5 ea. |
