My .02, From someone whose glass is always half empty(just to give you perspective), my opinion is that if you want an "evil" black rifle w/all the goodies, save your pennies and buy a pre ban rifle NOW! They're starting to come down in price a teeny,tiny bit, w/all the hoopla about the "possibility" of the AWB sunset. Suckers. I may not know much, but what I do know (from past practice with the lawyer/lawmaker scumbags) is that the politicians have no stomach to repeal ANY gun law once it is on the books-Jesus, are you kidding? You know what my gut is telling me? It's telling me that something worse is just around the corner and it'll be passed at midnight on a Friday just before the "Sunset", by our (supposed) pals in the Republican party. We are going to get f***ed deep and hard boys, and GUARANTEED "W" will sign whatever comes along; all in the name of "protecting the children". My opinion? Get with the program and buy whatever the hell you can in the way of a pre-ban rifle NOW, 'cause when the next law comes they will be worth their weight in gold-damn near priceless...we won't ever see them again. Next time, there will not be a "Sunset" to get everyone in a lather over, hoping against hope that those f**ks in Washington will throw us a bone. Sure they will-right in our ass. Don't wait. Tivoli, You are an honest man with balls. I'm certain we aren't the only ones here who know what really lies ahead for us AR/AK types, but is afraid of upsetting the "applecart" filled with the sheeple who think that the AWB really is going to go away. Yes, in its present form, absolutely it will die. But in it's place will be the equivalent of the AIDS virus for those of us who enjoy our God given rights. Don't tighten up, it only hurts worse when they put it to you. John |
