| What do you think of the RASII? |

So far I love mine. Here is are some pics. The installation is a bit tricky with one person but can be done. It free floats the barrel but I have not yet had a chance to see if he groups get smaller. Also, I personally like the "hump" because it leaves plenty of room on the flattop for an ACOG and a BUIS. I plan on putting an Aimpoint on the hump but am still up in the air as to a mount. If you have it narrowed down to an RAS-II, go for it. You will not be disappointed. |
| Its great. I've had mine for over a year now. Free floats the barrel, very solid for mounting lights etc. THe hump is perfect for mounting an Aimpoint on an ARMS mount to allow cowitnessing through it with my ARMS BUIS. It also helps barrel cooling immensly and I've never been able to get it too hot to hold. |

Love mine... Its got a few real pluses to it. First of all its easy to instal, it maintains a more classic look, it is the lightest of all the FF systems of its kind, it is great for mounting ACOGs because it doesnt raise the mounting platform of the flat top, and the bridge is the perfect height and spot to mount an Aimpiont. It has a more solid feel when using a forward grip than something like the SIR. The SIR also has advantages, but the differences between the two are best left decided by the user and their prefferences. Anyway you look at it, it is a great system. I've had mine set up with both an Aimpoint and an ACOG. Here's what it looks like with each.
