I can't seem to get a straight answer on these uppers from model 1 sales. Are these barrels chrome-lined or not?

No. They use E.R. Shaw Barrels which are good barrels, but they are not chrome lined.

I was going to get one of those and shoot out the barrel then replace it with A BM barrel.

Better off just getting a Bushmaster barreled upper if you want a chrome lined barrel.

I think that a chrome-moly barrel would be fine in a semi-auto only application.

I own two AR15's, One has a chrome lined barrel and the other chrome moly barrel. Both are more accurate than my aging shooting skills!

If they were chrome-lined they would tell you about it in the advertisement.

Chrome Moly

but not chrome lined.

I have some model 1 products, alway had great luck with them!!!!
