Are their barrels chrome-lined? If not, could I just replace the factory barrel with a chrome-lined barrel? Thanks. BTW, I'm looking at the DPMS in the shotgun news for $599. If anyone has an opinion(good or bad) about it, let me know.

If it is the Lite16 it is a non-chrome barrel, it has A1 sights and is a great little carbine. I have one, and has been trouble free for me.

I bought a DMPS M4 14.5" barrel upper from K2 sports.It is cromed lined and 1/7 twist they are very nice upppers it all so has a cromed bolt carrier cost me $445 shipped with a panther flashider installed. John at k2 sports is a nice guy to deal with.
