Can anyone ID this AR variant? It has no foward assist and some type of magwell attachment. It's hard to see but look at the two attachment points in front of the magwell. The receiver has the line of a SR25, but this one is obviously using USGI AR 30's.

The magwell attachement looks a lot like a Mag-Cinch. The upper is a stumper? Myabe its an Airsoft [;)]

Hey, good eye. I took a look at another pic it does look like a Redi-Mag.

While in Barnes and Noble, saw these in "Special Forces in Afghanistan 2001-2003: War Against Terrorism by Eric Micheletti"

And it could very well be an Airsoft. [:o]

I have no idea what the upper is, but MSTN has pics up with that same type of upper in the laser and lights forum under the topic of 96 ot 95 series surefire lights.

The back end of the receivers looks a bit like an AR-10

The rifle's an SR25.
