Can't really find much info on the subject. How does their stuff rate vs. Colt, Bushie, etc.

No I am not trying to start a flamewar!

I have an LMT Upper.Fit and finish are Top Notch!

I dont think you will find any Quality/Control issues with any of their products.I would put their products above Colt or Bushie.

Another factor on their side is that Wes and Paul at MSTN.biz use LMT parts almost exclusively.  MSTN's work is well-regarded around here, so we can draw a relatively sound conclusion from their  choice of LMT.

I'm not 100% but I believe LMT makes parts for Colt, Bushmaster, ect... If that is true I think your just shaving off some fat on the price or not depending on what your buying. On top of that I'd say having LMT stuff is really cool because it's not everyday you can get your hands on it, save MSTN.

I’m very happy with my LMT M-4 upper.  The enhanced bolt/carrier assembly is extremely nice!  Definitely first-rate gear!  I would also probably put it just above Colt and Bushmaster. Thanks Paul!  MSTN.BIZ

Does LMT have a website, if yes, can I have their web address?

Thanks in advance

JOHN MILLER, A NOTED FIREARMS EXPERT, PUT US ONTO LMT A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO. I'D HEARD GOOD THINGS ABOUT THEM PREVIOUSLY AS A SUPPLIER TO MANY HIGH-END MANUFACTURERS, BUT HAD NEVER BEEN ABLE TO "REACH" THEM.

JOHN HELPED THAT CHANGE. WE'VE BEEN USING LMT GEAR FOR GOING ON TWO YEARS NOW. WE FEEL EXTREMELY FORTUNATE TO HAVE ACCESS TO THEIR LINE OF PRODUCTS.

THE SUCCESS WE'VE ENJOYED WITH THEIR STANDARD PRODUCTS SUCH AS UPPERS, FIXED REAR SIGHTS, STANDARD BOLT CARRIER GROUPS, ARE THE SIMPLE RESULT OF THEIR MAKING A TOP NOTCH PRODUCT AT A FAIR PRICE.

THE IDEAL EXAMPLE IS THEIR 10.5" UPPER WITH STANDARD BOLT CARRIER GROUP AND FIXED REAR SIGHT:

BUT THEIR NEW, INNOVATIVE PRODUCTS ARE IN A CLASS BY THEMSELVES:

1. LMT ENHANCED BOLT CARRIER GROUP [ LMT ON LEFT. COLT'S ON RIGHT.]

2. LMT MRP UPPER ASSEMBLY

YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS THING UP CLOSE TO APPRECIATE THE FACT THAT IT STARTED OUT AS A TWO FOOT LONG 4"X4" BILLET OF ALUMINUM:

WE HAVE SEVERAL MORE MRP'S ON ORDER IN DIFFERENT BARREL LENGTHS. LOOK FOR MORE INFO ON THESE SOON. TALK ABOUT A GREAT PRODUCT, SIMPLY A KICK IN THE ASS TO WORK WITH! THIS MRP IS "GUN ART" TO MY MIND'S EYE. THERE IS NOTHING ELSE REMOTELY LIKE IT.

NEXT, I LOOK FOR THEM TO RELEASE THEIR IMPROVED VERSION OF THE CRANE STOCK.

YEP, WE'RE QUITE HAPPY WITH LMT.

Wes, I wanted to get a better look at your LMT bolt carrier group so I tweaked the photo to show a little more detail. Hope you don't mind [:)]

I had a chance to shoot one of Wes's LMT SPR uppers today (Wes, the one you built for va_dinger) and I gotta say the LMT upper was every bit as nice as my Colt or Bushmaster uppers.  Also, that thing was dead on at 200 yards and he hadn't even dialed it in yet.

Bottom line: if Wes is using LMT stuff it MUST be great.

Who makes the pistol grips in those pics...are they LMT as well or are they Sierra Precision?

LMT is equal to Bushmaster or Colt but not better as far as uppers go.  I have seen Colt and Bushmaster uppers that were better machined than LMT nad vice versa.  However the LMT bolt and carrier is amazing, especially the bolt.  It is the most finely machined bolt with the most perfect finish you could imagine.  The only better machined carrier that I have seen is the Young Mfg. carrier used by Les Baer.  I cant imagine an LMT part that is not up there with the best.

I'm looking at both my LMT+Colt uppers side by side as I type this. I can see absolutey no visable difference. Machine work looks perfect on both.
