Ok, so I have narrowed it down to an RAS II. I want peoples' thoughts on mounting an EOTech to it. Will it fit on the upper with an arms#40, or will I have to mount it above the barrel? Are there any cons to mounting it that far forward?
Thanks in advance
Ants

PS Does Arms have a website?
Also, how well will the EOTech cowhitness with the RASII?

You'll have to mount it forward of the "bridge".  The only downside is the rifle being more front heavy.  Not a big deal to most.  Good luck!

Not a very comprehensive site. Don't even bother buying anything form that site (too expensive)
I got my ARMS #50 from EagleFirearms on the EE, and I couldn't be happier with it. Kick ass price too!

Lastly I have my EoTech Mounted to my #50. Many guys including me PREFER the sight to be mounted to the front. So the #50 works out perfectly.

Not trying to hijack this thread, but I raise a similar question re mounting an EOTECH on a Bushie 16" A2.  I'd like to be able to use the iron sights if the batteries die.  Is one of these mounts you reference sufficient for this purpose?  Thanks.  RTAB1

I have a very similiar setup as C4iGrant (thanks to some great purchases from him) and like it very much.  No, I do not use both my Eotech and ACOG at the same although it seems as though I could when looking through it.  I've seen some soldiers in Iraq attch their ACOG's to their right rail when not in use, but it sure does get heavy with all this gear on it and mags.
