is Bushmaster full of crap when they say that 1:9 ROT is the best? I would like to have the option to fire 77 grain bullets and for them to stabilize reliably. where can i get a 16 inch, 1:7, m4 profile barrel?

Several of the manufacturers say that they went with the 1-9 twist because it will work best on the largest variety of bullets. Most people will put allot more 55 grain bullets through their rifle than 77. If you look on the Equiptment Exchange people sell Colt 1-7 twist 16" rifles. I even think that their is one there now.
