| I have been shooting my newest member of the family, which my "smith" built for me, without any flaws. Today i chambered a round, decided not to shoot, removed the mag, and ejected the chambered round. when i recovered the round, i noticed the primer had a very slight dimple from the firing pin. repeated the previous actions, and the same thing happened to the next round. Is this a headspacing problem? |

I dont think you have a headspace problem, most rifles with free floating firing pins, does what you had mention in your post. That why it usely best to have military primmers, commercial primmers are usely soft, but that being said, it doesnt seem to be a problem with AR's etc. TG |
