Here is the question for all you multi AR ownwers. Out of all the different AR's you own do you have 1 that you like to shoot the best or more than the others? the reason I ask this is that when ever I go to grab just one to bring to the range it seems that I always grab my Armalite 20" M15A2 first. It's a great shooter, never a problem. the others are DPMS's a 16" and a 20 A3 and one of the prairie dog guns the 24" |

Quoted: Yep, my pre-ban M4 & pre-ban XM177E2 go to the range everytime I go while the post-bans rotate trips [:D] Ditto on the XM177E2. Have a clone built on an SP1, that I had changed over about 25 years ago. If we ever had to have just one long gun, that's the one I'd keep[:D] |
| I only have one AR.Its a SP1 carbine.I don't take it to the range near enough.I do have 13 or so uppers for my M16.It all most aways has a M4 upper on it.If not that its a 10.5" upper or a SPR upper that I got from MSTN.When I want to play with a 9mm most of the time it a KAC 9MMSD upper. And when I really want to dump lead its the LMG upper with 2 Beta mags and 2 90 round drums. The latest upper is a 300 Whisper.Oh I forgot,if I have to shoot cheap its the 22SD upper.Reading this I dont think this has helped you any. That is what I like about the AR/M16 the best, its versitility. But if I had to pick one it would be the M4.SJR556. |

I have 5 and pretty much take them all except the Bushy Varminter when I take ARs to the range. They all go in "assault" type cases so I can carry the 4 of them in one hand and the ammo can full of loaded mags in the other. The varminter goes in a hard case so I can't do that. That being said I would have to say that my preban PWA is my favorite followed by the standard A2 RRA 20" |

I've got two of 'em right now. I have a Bushy 20" A3 with a Weaver Grand Slam and a Bush River or a Rockmaster (whichever you choose to call it) 16" A3 with an Aimpoint ML2. I enjoy shooting the 20" a lot because it is more accurate than the 16". I take it to the 200 yd range and shoot with scope as well as irons. I find the 16" w/Aimpoint is marginal past 150 yds, but it is deadly @ 100 yds in, what it is intended for anyway. Shabo |

Quoted: Bush River or a Rockmaster (whichever you choose to call it) Great !!! We need to incorporate this terminology. My suggestion is the upper should have the first name for obvious reasons. BushRiver = BM upper with RR lower. Rockmaster = RR upper with BM lower. New slang for us Arfcommers !!!! [50] |

Interesting... Out of my ARs I like the 20-inch A2 HBAR setup most... Then again, I do most of my shooting off the bench, prone, or standing trying to maintain some of my skill for CMP matches.... I like shooting the M4... but it's the full sized rifle that does it best for me... I find it interesting that a majority of guys prefer to shoot their lighter set-ups... |

[50] Well, that's better than the old "Bushamster" (if anyone remembers that from the old AR15.com site). BTW, I usually grab my A2 HBAR (Bushmaster). FITTER |
