I just put a camo job on my AR.

What do y'all think?

It's the closest "woods" I could find.

You may have to look for it here.  ;)

I think it looked OK for a first timer.

I like!!! Excellent job sir. I'm not real fond of the camo jobs with millions of lines and what not, I like solid tan or what you got going. Definately a good camo job!

I must say, every rifle on this post looks absolutly great. Even though I'm too young to buy one and live in CA, I dream of the day where I'm handed one for free in the military. I love to see pics of these "evil assault rifles" because it just pisses off the liberals. Ya know what we should do? E-mail ALL of these pics of your rifles to Sara Brady and Diane Feinstien just to piss 'em off. But no names, just pics. [:D] Maybe not...

Hey AK_Mike:

Cool avatar you got there. Is that a darn polar bear peeking in your window? Wow, that's so cool. I noticed you're up in Alaska, so that explains the polar bear. I've always wanted to go to Denali park and backpack. Looks beautiful up there in Frontier land.

Edited to change pic, to show "effective camo", in it's own environment (local Milwaukee dealer)

Olympic 20" A2, freefloat, ATN 5x33 Scope.

I painted this for the sole purpose of matching EricTheHun's DeWalt.

Brasspile's Sawzall:  (great construction site camo).

brasspile...

If you ever had to use that in a home defense situation, I wonder what would stop the thief first – the sight of an AR15 or the color scheme on it. It looks nice, it does a nice job of staying on the side of uniqueness, without crossing over into gaudy excess.
