[ARCHIVED THREAD] - M4 muzzle blast pics

I went shooting yesterday with a friend, the usual place on an old strip mine. I got him to take a short, low quality digital video with my camera of shooting the M4gery. These are 3 seperate frames that it caught the muzzle blast in from 3 different shots. I thought they looked pretty cool.

The upper is an RRA from Pete in NH. The barrel is their M4 profile, but 16" with the fake pressed on flash hider, so it's pretty much just an open muzzle.

That's a good pic...try some XM193 and it'll look like a flamethrower hehe.

One of the best muzzle blast pics I've seen in a while was from a guy who posted around a few boards named Boris, who posted a pic of him firing his SAR 2 ...2 feet of flame easy, great pic. I had it saved for a while, but a HD reformat took care of that.

I was shooting PMP and 'Sellier and Bellot', but I'm almost positive those shots were with PMP.

cool pics..i have been wanting to do the same thing with my AR , it has a Levang Linear muzzle brake on and from what i can tell it does a good job.
