| I have been wanting a superlite upper assembly for my bushmaster, i seen one in the local gun store today and it looked a little flimsy. the barrel looks very thin, would the barrel bend easily? would it heat up quickly and warp? it almost looks like a pellet gun barrel. i think i still want one though. im looking for peoples opinions on this barrel assembly. im going to use it for home and neighborhood defense. |

I have a pencil barrel AR. The barrel is not flimsy. They do heat up quickly (and cool off quickly). Definately not going to warp with any kind of shooting I do (maybe 10 mags on full auto).
