I have a couple of Bushmaster Pre ban Lowers and was thinking about ordering this ARMS S.I.R. Military Upper from Bushmaster.
Let me know what you think about it?
It's not Cheap but I have some $$ to blow and two Brand New Pre Ban Bushy Lowers here that need to be finished.
Please give me your advice on this Bushmaster Pre ban Upper?
Thanks..

Buy that and finish one of the pre-bans off...sell the other pre-ban lower to me CHEAP [:D]
You might want to look into buying an upper w/o the SIR and then purchasing the SIR from another vendor or on the EE for less.
Just a thought...might save you a couple bucks.

It's great. You suck, but the upper is kewl.

Kidding of course. Paying more going thru Bushmaster when you can get the SIR other places but the ease of one stop shopping is sometimes worth it.

What, you a male whore or something? Where's the disposable income coming from? I'm just jealous, don't mind me. [:)]

The Cool Factor is very high.  That said, it is very cool to have.  I could buy one but I have been pondering a couple things you may want to investigate before laying out the dollars.

First, do you really want to load up your AR15 with so much equipment?   If not, why get so many rails.

The handguards are used by the military and not many sirs are being used from what I can tell.  I would want to find out how comfortable it is to shoot before buying.   Good Luck.

The cool factor is 1000%

I have a couple complete AR15's and a couple of Pre Ban lowers that I want to fix up.
Since none of my AR's have the ARMS System, this is why I want to go with this upper.
I think the AR's with the System are Very "Cool" looking also! !!!!

the 16" with flash comes out to be like 17" or 17.5" icant remember. the 14.5 whith flash comes out 2b 15.5". thats a half inch under leagl. i bought the 14.5 and took it to kurts kustum firearms and had him put a longer flashider on it to bring it to legal lenght. right at 16".why have one longer than you have to.

This sort of goes against your whole topic, but I prefer a Knight's RAS railed handguard with a #38 EX-MOD typing it all together. The #38 EX-MOD rail secures the RAS to the flattop and makes it just as rigid as the ARMS SIR series. Plus if you ever put a "can" on the end, it helps support the barrel so it doesn't droop from the weight under heavy fire. The #38 EX-MOD's function is actually opposite of the SIR system's free-floating ability.

To me its part of the whole modular thing. I can take the top rail off and mount stuff directly on the flattop, or put the rail on and mount a scope on top of it, without the need for a spacer.

Plus the ARMS #38 EX-MOD rail has a built in ARMS #40 flip up sight. Something the ARMS #45 lacks. If you factor in the cost of a back up sight to the SIR price, they both come out to about $500 a piece. To each his own....

Would I be better to order this with the 14.5" M4 Barrel with a Welded Flash Suppressor?
What would be the Best Looking Flsh Suppressor to get on the M4 Barrel?
Thanks..

It would look better, but more importantly it wouldnt be too heavy. I reccomend either the Phantom or Vortex, just make sure you get the most recent model, they both were upgraded.

How do I know the difference between the Newer or Older Phantom or Vortex?
