| Ive tried the cheaper scopes and im not happy. Im in the market for either an aimpoint or an eotech. Any suggestions? |

A good friend of mine just graduated from Special forces "school" in the Army. He is now in (sp?) "SEAR" school. Not sure of the spelling but it is where they teach you what to do when you are caught by the enemy and are "interrogated" in some ways or others. He personally owns a Colt M16A1 and 7 different upper configs. I have been fortunate enough to shoot all of these a few times. He has Aimpoints and EOTechs. They are both great. I have one AR. I bought the EOTech. It is all personal preference between the two. I liked the 2D reticle better and I liked how the EOTech seems to sit lower on the rail. I feel like there are less "nooks and cranys" for stuff to get caught on with the EOTech style of mounting as opposed to the tubular Aimpoint. best drew |
