[ARCHIVED THREAD] - RAS II

Any problems attaching this to an RRA upper? I've been looking around and all of the ads say it will fit mil-spec uppers such as colt. No mention of the others. Anyone had a problem with this setup.

I have one on my Bushmaster. It goes on in minutes. This is by far the nicest thing I ever hung on an AR. I am so happy with it that I have the rifle leaning against the front of my safe so I can stare at it while I am watching TV and surfing the net.

So long as yours is a newer RRA upper. Some of their older ones had out of spec rails on the flat top which would cause a problem mounting this for sure. They fixed the problem around the end of 2001 I believe. If you got your rifle after that, you should be fine. If you got it before, you might have a problem.
