I tried the light mount for Surefires.

Took it out of the package, and TRIED to slide it on my RAS rail.  Fit was so TIGHT, you could say it DIDN'T fit.

I EVENTUALLY got it off, but it was a F*CKIN' B*TCH!!!!

NOTE:  I apologize for the harsh words, but they were the only ones to use that would properly describe how extremely difficult the task was.

I ended up having to do MUCHO filing to get it to fit normally.

That's when I discovered that the light itself is held in the mount with small pads on either side.  Even with the retaining screw tightened close to stripping, the light would still shift with pressure.

It quickly came off and into my parts box, which in my opinion is where it works the best.

I bought KAC 1" light mounts instead, which I haven't had any problems with and am very pleased with.

I have the M33, the foregrip and the light mount. I have not had a problem with any. The M33 is a tight fit and I have not experienced any shifting even with the foregrip. The light mount did go on a bit tight, but not as tight as mrcr0603 was saying his was.

I've got the grip & the Light mount.  Both work fine and are lighter than other's products.

I do use both of them on a FOBUS M33 lower handguard (so the fit will be better than with say a RAS or SIR).

This was covered within the last couple weeks, but I have the First Samco four rail handguard and the First Samco foregrip. I think both are very good quality. At least as good as any other plastic handguard I have used. It fits tighter than any of my other handguards and mine doesn't move at all when mounted. Rock solid. I like the First Samco foregrip better than the broomhandle one from KAC, so I tried to put the First Samco foregrip on my RAS II and had the same problem as mrcr0603. It was so tight that I had to pound it on and off. But, it works fine with the First Samco handguards, and so I left my KAC foregrip on my RAS II and my First Samco foregrip on my First Samco handguards.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the First Samco stuff. I certainly wouldn't trade my RAS II for one, but for about 1/3 the cost, it is certainly a worthwhile purchse.
