Great site, thanks for the post. Does anyone have any experiance with this chamber? I take it that it is a compromise between a tight.223 chamber and a 5.56 chamber. Does it work? Is it tight enough to be accurate with .223 match loads and "loose" enough to safely shoot 5.56? Will it feed reliably? Does it have a long fee bore? I'm considering a RRA Varminter which has this chamber. Thanks

My 2001 RRA LEGP M4'gery had a slight glitch with a bad extractor when new.

Since then, it's ran probably 1k rounds w/out a single hiccup.

South African M193 surplus.

The Wylde chamber seems to work well.

I have a couple of RRA's w/ the Wylde chamber. They take SA surplus without a hiccup; Win white box and Federal/American Eagle as well.
