I've got my Bushmaster slightly broken in (not a lot of rounds thru it) and I just don't like the trigger. Most of my 1911 type handguns I own have trigger jobs and a few of my other rifles don't have quite the heavy/creepy trigger pull my AR has. So, what type of trigger would recommend? Should I go ahead and replace now? I've read that a reasonably priced trigger which is a drop in is Rock River, is this correct? I don't need a 2 stage due to the type of shooting. Thanks...

Rock River is a good trigger. Also available for around $99.00. However it is a 2 stage. JP makes an awesome single stage trigger. Prices start around 139.00. I really love mine.
Good luck.

Can I get in on this? I just bought a Bushmaster, and absolutely love it, but the trigger pull BLOWS. Should I send it off? Do it myself? I'm handy, how hard is it? Who does the best trigger jobs in the universe? Or the worst?

Cheapest one I like is Bushy's own DCM trigger - its a 2 stage but its very nice for the price.  I like it better than my JP.  JP's are fine if you want to spend the $$ on the trigger AND the low mass hammer, but youre lookin at roughly $200 by the time your done.  The Jewel trigger IS the cats ass, far and away the best, but not cheap.  It really comes down to how much you want to spend and how good does it have to be.  If your shooting 600 yards and your rifle will sub MOA get the Jewel. If you just want a subtantial inmprovement for casual plinking get the bushy DCM trigger.

I have an Accuracy Speaks trigger in my Bushy.  It is a single stage with no adjusting screws.  It's about $165.00 from them shipped.  It's was easy to install and has no creep with a 3.5 lb let off.  I really like it.
