My only internet access is at work. I just found out that effective Friday I am layed off (or as they said "You are a victim of work force reduction"). So, I guess I'll be signing off for a while. I'll have to get to the library and try to check in from time to time. Brad |

Last day. I worked with some good people. One of my going away gifts is a NIW Adventureline AR-15 mag that she snuck out of her husbands gun vault! Thank you all for the well wishes. It means a lot to know that there are people out there who can feel concerned for people they don't even know. I work (or worked) in the Transportation and Logistics industry. I was responsible for all of my companies domestic shipping, inbound and outbound. I made contracts with carriers, handled lost and damaged shipments, scheduled pick ups and deliveres, audited freight bills, etc. As for job prospects. I am not too sure yet. I have made contact with all of the companies I worked with, and got some leads. I have heard that there are a lot of Logistics people out of work in the Twin Cities Metro Are. It might be a while. On Monday, when I was told that this was my last week, I went home early. A buddy and I went to a local gun shop. On the way there I told him "Just watch. There will be a pre ban AR there for $850". And what did I find when I got there? An Eagle Arms lower w/ A2 upper in Pre-Ban configuration for $895. I am trying to decide if I should buy it or not. I think that I could maybe talk the price down. Here's to all of the un-employed members of AR-15.com. Good luck to us all! Brad |
