"According to [Kristen] Rand [of the VPC], the Bushmaster .223 includes a feature called a "muzzle brake," which is very similar to a flash suppressor and falls outside the ban"....

i found that honestly batf can't tell the difference between a muzzle brake and a flash hider just by looking at the two. if you ask me the ban on flash hiders is extreme nonsense because it doesn't hide the flash it just simply makes it easier for the shooter to get a second shot off in low light conditions without the shooter being blinded by his own flash.

Holy crap.  Is she freakin' out of her mind?  I guess the VPC will take every crumb they can get out and will make up lies about anything and everything.  I just can't believe what they won't stoop to.

Check out what they say about the new S&W 500.

Advocates of gun control said it would crank up firepower on the streets and create new dangers for police.

"It boggles the mind," said Tom Ortiz, an author and executive director of the Violence Policy Center. He predicted the new Magnum would create "a new order of threat to law enforcement."

Sometimes..... you just want to beat a liberal to death with a rock.
Any empires in history took a hard left perspective to life who were slaughtered? Oh wait, Rome.

Nothing new there, those fools have to keep in the media limelight or they would quit receiving donations from all those commie mommies that fund their champagne brunches.

Just goes to show the level of gun ingnorance and fear out there.  It is up to us to educate the public, who else is going to do it?  I try to take new friends to the range out whenever possible to help spread black rifle fever!

If they are interested in firearms, I tell them that I will teach them to shoot if they provide the ammo.  I teach them proper firearm safety and marksmanship.  Every one thus far leaves empowered and a firm believer in our 2nd amendment rights.

If all responsible gun owners in the US would take out thier gun ingnorant friends/coworkers/family and teach them to responsible firearm handling and marksmanship instead of them absorbing the propganda put out by the media that all guns are evil, imagine the possibilities...  Seems to me that this would be the surest route of success in the struggle over gun control.  It could easily double or triple our numbers if all of us would merely take the time to educate a couple of people we know.

BTW this woman obviously needs a real man[;)]...

I've yet to see a Liberal take a logical look at current and proposed gun legislation.  Problem: People are gettting killed by criminals using guns.  AR's represent lest than 1% of guns used in those crimes.
Solution: Ban all "assualt" weapons, and put illogical restricions on the "post ban" weapons (which aren't very different)so law abiding citizens can't enjoy their hobby, but criminals can still use them in the same manner.

I wonder if these Liberal $ucks sit around at their parties and pat themselves on the back for making laws like this?  If I wanted to go "clocktower" w/ my post-ban, I would be able to achieve the same results that I would have w/ a pre-ban.

I guess I fail to see any logical reason behind the "muzzle break" "flash-hider" thing.  Maybe they think that if we can hide the flash from our muzzle in low light situations, it will make people harder to find if they ever go "clocktower", but if our LE officials are so inept that they can't find people based on the loud report from my AR, then there are greater issues at hand.

Kristen Rand probably couldn't tell a flash hider from a muzzle brake from her left tit.  The brake is similar to a flash hider because the ignorant bitch doesn't understand it, and it goes on the end of a gun barrel, hence it is bad and should be banned.
You're wasting your time looking for logic or consistancy from this crew, they are one notch below the tin foil hat brigade in terms of their grasp on reality.

the deceased was riding his motorcycle when a Semi-Tractor Trailer ran a red light at over 80 MPH and broadsided the biker, killing him instantly. The biker WAS NOT wearing a helmet...(oops sorry, wrong website)[puke]
