Are these parts any good? i'm looking to get an upper reciever assy from them (MODEL1SALES), but i thought i'd ask first.

I bought a barrel from them about a year ago.  The guy on the phone told me it was made by ER Shaw.  I havent had any trouble  with it.  Most of what I see on this site has been favorable.

I have a flat top 16" light weight barreled upper and a 7.62X39 upper from them and they both work great. I was told that the upper is a FN contractor upper and the barrels made by Wilson.
