Pickup truck. [;)]  Actually, when I go to the range I take an ammo can with my ammo in it and put the can in the bakc of the truck, rifles up front.  Got a green duffel I carry gloves, glasses, ears, rest. etc. in.  I also take a tool box with all the goodies necessary to do anything to an AR, short of barrel vise and action block.  Just in case.

I've seen guys at the range with all their stuff in Radio Flyer wagons!  I use to think that they had way to much stuff but now that I have a couple of ARs, I can see why they use them [:D]

Ammo is kept in .30 cal ammo cans - with a shoulder strap (yuo can use a spare 'silent sling' for this).

Other gear (spare mags, spare cleaning kit, .22 conversion kit, spotting scope, range badge, spare hearing protect, other odds and ends) are carried in a craftsman tool box.

My chronograph kit (chrono, tripod, printer & pda) are kept in a separate flat 'truck' tool box. [so if I'm not using the chrony it stays at home].

I can even put my M4 into a toolbox (though if I'm shooting localy I just use my soft case).  The toolboxes cost less than most 'range cases' hold more, are more durable, and don't scream 'gun' (particularly important if you live in a Apt or Urban area - or are traveling across state lines to go shooting.).

If I have absolutely everything, I grab one of those folding luggage carriers and stack the boxes (they stack well) - I can pull every thing to the line at one time.  Though I rarely bring this much to the range - usually its just my range/tool box and rifle.

Basically I use the mag pockets in the various rifle cases to hold my magazines.  Ammo is in ammo cans and I have a tool box looking range box that I use for everything else (cleaning kits, stapler for targets, targets, eye and ear protection etc.)

Duct tape and the family dog!!!!

Every time I need another mag, I just whistle and spot comes running.
The only problems is during the last few mags, the dog doesn't want to get close to me, due to all the bald spots were the duct tape stuck too well, and I have to use a doggy bisket to trick him over.

Now, if the wife will allow me to tape the bisket to one of our kids, I won’t have to carry a thing.

I bring too much shit to the range every time I go.  I fill up the trunk and back seat of the car.  The other guns will get jealous if I don't shoot them, so I have to bring them all.  That's getting more and more difficult as I acquire more firearms.  I guess I'll just have to plan on a range in my next back yard!

I went to Home Depot and picked up one of those rubbermaid 50-gal totes.  Carries everything except ammo and rifles, you can put it in the FRONT of the car and not have anyone look at it suspiciously, and when you get caught in the rain you simply snap the lid down.  It even gives me a place to put all those free stickers you collect at gun shows, etc.

Best $20 I ever spent on gun stuff.

Edited to add:  I can't type, it's a 30 gal tote, not a 50.  No way a 50 would fit in the trunk of my Escort!

I bring way too much stuff to the range also.  I never know when I might need something though.

I have a Jeep Wrangler, but I had a trailer made to it.  Now I can take as many rifles, folding chairs, range bags, shooting mat, ammo, spotting scope, etc....
