I've got a Bushmaster A3 upper with a M4 profile carbine barrel on it. My problem is that it has, not the mini-y-comp brake, but the larger Y-Comp. Makes it dog ugly. I want to remove it & replace it with a smaller brake. It has a pin sticking out of both sides of the brake, so it's not a blind installation. My question is...How does Bushmaster install these? Is it just the pin, pin plus solder, or what? Is the bbl threaded? Anyone removed and replaced one of these? |

Send your upper to Kurt at KKF and he can remove your existing muzzle device and replace it with his A3 brake. It's a muzzle brake that looks like an extended A2 FS. It is much quieter and looks much better. Kurt does this work all the time. Check out his forum under Industry. -Troy |
