I'm temped to shoot up the Russian steel cased ammo I have left over from My SAR-3 but don't know if there is a better made extractor for the AR than the stock one.For those that shoot steel case ammo, what do you recommend?

I just shoot the stuff. I haven't seen any wear on the extractor. The steel in this stuff is very mild. If you are concerned about it buy a spare extractor. You DO have a spare extractor don't you? [:)]

I have shot thousands of rounds through several different AR's and never had an extractor break yet.
