Been lurkin on the board for a few months, signed up last month.
I have been into guns since I was a kid. I used to own a M1 Garand NM which I had to get rid of to pay some bills (either that or sell a body part, it was a tough choice).
Right now I don't own any long guns just a Beretta M-96 and Cougar in 40cal.
But thanks to the knowledge that I am gaining from the broad, when I do make a purchase, it will be an informed one.

Thanks and have a great Thanksgiving.

Welcome. There are lots of Washington state members on the board. See if anyone is having a local AR15.com shoot and get your ass there. Most AR owners LOVE to show off and let people shoot their ARs. You have a great Thanksgiving too!

Welcome aboard! Sounds like you're going about it the right way. Too many folks find this place when they're looking for help with a rifle they aren't happy with.

I knew there was a reason I signed up to this site. Everyone here makes it feel like one big family, which it is. I will definitely take some of you up on your offers. And when I get my guns, I will repay the generosity shown on this board by helping out any Newbie's (or Oldbie's who just want to shoot) I can.
