Have a close friend that I do not want to take advantage of that is willing to sell me his pre-ban Bushy CAR-15 (don't know if that's the right name but should let you know what). It's barely been fired. What should I offer him? |

Well since he is a good friend, and you don't want to take advantage of him and knowing the rifle has hardly been fired; make his day and offer him $2250. If he takes it good, you have your pre-ban and didn't take advantage of a friend. Now your both happy. Oh! I almost forgot. You should require that he throw in all USGI mags and any ammo that he has aquired. |

Ok, I'm going to show my ignorance. I really don't know how to verify by the serial number? Would the carbine have a bayonet lug? I haven't actually seen the gun but my friend has more guns than Carter has liver pills. He's an avid skeet killer and is into those multi thousand dollar over and unders. I've found him to be quite knowledgeable on guns and find his honesty to be unquestionable. |

Get the serial number and contact Bushmaster (ask for Jerrod). He'll verify the serial number for you if possible (if it left the factory as a complete rifle). If so, you're good to go. You can ask Bushmaster to send you a confirmation letter. HOLD ON TO THAT LETTER! Kevin's price range is correct for the rifle. Obviously, accessories can raise the price. -Troy |
