Pete,
Put in the trigger last night. It was simple to install and only took about 10 minutes.
Shot the heck out of it after work today. That National Match trigger is SWEET!!!. I'm going to need more ammo. :-)
Thanks fo rthe good service.

Was this the tuned RRA NM trigger? I want to get one for my rifle eventually. Are there any sites that tell someone how to change out the trigger on an AR?

Taking out the trigger, hammer, and safety is easy.

Make sure the rifle is unloaded (duh!) and separate the upper and lower receivers.
Remove the pistol grip using the screw that goes through the bottom of the pistol grip.
Take out the spring and detent for the safety that the pistol grip was holding in place.
With the hammer cocked and the safety detent now removed, the safety should easily slide out.
With your thumb over the hammer to gently lower it, pull the trigger.
Use a tap and a small hammer to tap out the pins that hold in the hammer and trigger.  These pins are held in place by springs that engage grooves in the pins.

If you can’t get it back together, post another question.
