I would like to thank Ron and Chris of SWFA Inc. for their outstanding example of customer service. I recently experienced a scope failure with my SS 10x42 while enjoying a day at the range with my M21. The reticle shifted within the tube resulting in a canted appearance. Following the advice of members on Battlerifles.com, I contacted Bushnell to inquire about servicing the scope under warranty. Bushnell passed the buck to ABO of Miami, FL where I was notified that they would service the scope but it would not be warrantied work. ABO wanted me to pay the labor and parts to service a scope that I was told would still be under lifetime warranty. I became VERY frustrated when I started to realize that I may be screwed with this defective scope and with a baby nearly here little prospect to purchase a suitable replacement optic. But, despair faded after a very good conversation with Ron. Ron asked that I send the defective scope to SWFA Inc. and they would send me a NEW SS 10x42. Today I just recieved the replacment and I am very excited to attach the scope and enjoy my M21 once again. I am not sure what happened to my old one as it was about 4 years old and experienced only 300 rounds. But, the new one is better with more precise adjustments.

Chris,

Is there any benefit to filling out and mailing the product registration card that came with the SS 10x42? The link that is printed on the bottom of tha card (www.productregister.com/tasco) does not work.

Thank you!

KK,

Don't waste your time filling it out, just gets you on a mailing list at Bushnell.  It has a lifetime warranty handled through tasco/Bushnell.

Glad we could get you back in business.  Big difference in the knobs...eh?

Chris
