Just got my SRD762QDTi out of jail. Brought it home to mock up the AR10. Went to put the mount on and only about 2-3 threads engage the barrel.
It's not the barrel....I tried 3 different barrels all threaded to standard 5/8x24 pattern. The mount only goes 2-3 threads deep before it shoulders and stops. There is no way for that mount to be stable and support the suppressor before it walks off. What setup did you test this on? I know you guys test almost every suppressor that you carry. I'm curious how you got the mount to sit securely on a barrel with only 2-3 threads engaged. |
