Bill has time to build a rail for people making a rifle to use an Arca-Swiss style precision mount (MK18 16" rail) , but doesn't have time to build a MK16 in 10.5" length?
How many people could possibly be building a AR style rifle for an Arca-Swiss style mount compared to how many of us have 11.5" barreled rifles? |

Thinking of going with an american defense mfg 10.75" rail.
Anyone have experience with adm rails? |

MK16 in 10.75" would be NICE.
Is there a reason to have a 10.5" rail vs 10.75" that I'm not aware of? 10.75" will let everything clear with the least amount of rail still showing, right? So why would anyone want the additional .25" of barrel to show? I'm honestly curious if this is just a lack of knowing what they actually need for clearance or if there is a benefit to this I'm not thinking of. |

Perhaps this was to leave it open to more suppressor options in the future instead of having to make the suppressors backward capable. If they were to keep with that trend, then they would make a 10.5" MK16 for an 11.5" barrel and an 11.5" MK16 for a 12.5" barrel. I much prefer the Mk18 RIS II look where the front of the rail nearly touches the rear of the suppressor. |

Bought an 11” LaRue. But I’ll still grab a 11” G rail if it ever makes an appearance.

Black Friday they released a 10" as a special. We have gained exactly .5" ground on this situation

Dang. I got my hopes up when I saw this thread was bumped to the top.

Don't forget, Bill. Those who prefer the superior 11.5" barrel length want rails that don't have a yuge gap.
Pls make rail. Sincerely, Everyone |

I would like to raise the stakes.... How about retro rails? MK1 etc...

Rumor has it the person who bumps this thread most often will get a special one off 10.75" Geissele MK8 in time for the summer competition season.
Or it could just be a rumor I'm starting to bump this thread because I really want a 10.75" Geissele MK8... Please and thank you Bill! |

Bill called me personally to award me said special rail for bumping this thread. I’ll take it in mk4 style.

A 10.5 and 10.75 rail is of the highest priority.
Even more so than a complete rifle. |

Thanks for getting the 35mm Super Precision mount all done and on the market, it looks fantastic!
But you know what would look even better??? A 10.75" Geissele MK8. Now that would be a big seller! Please and thank you. |

@Geissele my 10.75 MK8 hasn't shown up yet, should I call customer service?

Every single time I see this thread at the top of my subscription list, hope starts to build, then I check the thread only to have it destroyed.

I was looking on G's website today for a 10.5 Mlok rail for an 11.5 barrel and to my surprise not a single one available...
So no G rails for Colt 6933's |

He talks about the length starting around 14 seconds
(Mentions the gun in his hand has an 11.5" barrel, and yes, the MLOK slot arrangement is different than on the 9.3" MK16) 5.56 Suppressor Selection with Barry Dueck |

@GACS
How many do I need to order for a 10.75 or 10.5 custom run. Or just tell me I cant have it and I can move on. Maybe even explain why I cant give you my money. I am sick of this. |
