I'm just finishing up a build using my third geissele rail
i have an 13 in mk2 on a sig m400 i have a 9.5 in mk8 on my aero upper neither of these show any rail gap, they fit together flush and feel rock solid, finally on my latest build i have a 13 in mk8 on another aero precision upper, this one is displaying a very small gap between the rail and receiver. its probably 3 note cards thick if that just to to give you a general idea. i know the gap is minimal. but it gives it a "hollow" feel. its driving me nuts my main concern is wouldn't that gap leave sort of a leverage point if the rail took a hard hit near the muzzle? does any one else have this issue? |
